Gas freeing onboard ship is carried out for various reasons; change of cargo, health and safety and tank maintenance are
but a few. It is essential that this is done efficiently and safely. Our range of fans competently achieve these aims and are
well respected in the marine market. A full range of ancillary equipment is also available.

The VP850A and VP950AS are high performance air driven fans in either Stainless Steel or Aluminium Alloy. The non-sparking fans can achieve deep penetration suitable for all types of crude oil, chemical and product tankers.

Designed and Class Approved for use in hazardous areas;
Supply or Extract mode by simple reversal;
Integral ‘Direct In-Line’ drive, no gearbox to maintain or fail;
Alternative deck flanges and fan connections available;
Standard ‘Claw’ Coupling.
